United Technologies Corporation Advertising Campaign
These illustrations featured in an award winning
campaign for UTC from 2006-2011. The agency was DDB in New York. UTC own several major companies including Sikorsky, Otis, Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton Sunstrand, Chubb and several others and wanted to showcase their products. The agency required a hand-drawn style and initially tried unsuccessfully to achieve this using digital artworks. Ultimately the only way to get the right finish was to use artists (Hans Jenssen & Richard Chasemore) who still had the right skills with traditional media. They were reproduced across numerous media including Forbes, Barron's, The Wall Street Journal, billboards, construction wraps and underground stations.
